Hi everyone! Today I want to talk about my experience at Garden Grill locate in Epcot’s Land Pavilion. I went to Garden Grill on my last morning in Disney for the character breakfast before heading to the airport.
I first want to touch on having a breakfast reservation before park opening. This was my first time doing it and I was very curious to see how that was handled. When you walk up to the entrance to the park, look out for a sign that says something along the lines of “reservations and tours”. Once you locate that head that direction and you will meet a cast member scanning magic bands checking for said reservations. As long as your reservation is in there you can head right in to the parks. Super easy! It is also pretty cool getting to walk into the parks before opening and see them so empty.
Now, back to the restaurant. You can find Garden Grill on the upper level of the land pavilion. It is a very cool location because it is the only rotating restaurant on Disney World property. That’s right, I said rotating. While you eat, the restaurant is moving in a circle the entire time. This gives you the opportunity to see different views, including views of Living with the Land which is below the restaurant. That is definitely one of my favorite parts of Garden Grill because it is such a unique experience.
On top of that it also serves food with ingredients from the Living with the Land greenhouse. Can’t get much fresher than that! When we arrived at our table we had dishes set up in the shape of Mickey, which I thought was a great touch. Overall I would give the atmosphere 7/10. While I do love the view inside of Living with the Land when you are spinning around toward the opposite side of the restaurant it is fairly bland.
Pricing: In the range of $40 per adult and $25 per child but pricing varies
Moving on to the food, breakfast at Garden Grill is all you can eat family style. For drinks they have coffee, milk, and an array of juices. I tried a guava juice that was SO good. They then brought out fresh fruit, and a large cinnamon roll bake. That cinnamon roll bake was one of my favorite things, it was delicious. I think my husband could have eaten an entire one himself but he refrained.
The next dish that came out was a skillet filled with scrambled eggs, tater tots, sausage, bacon, and Mickey waffles. On the side it came with syrup, a chocolate hazelnut dip, ketchup, and salsa. This was super simple but delicious breakfast food. The tater tots were so crispy and the waffles were also perfectly done. Eggs are not my favorite food but they were fine for scrambled eggs. I did want to give a shout out to the salsa as well which I thought was fantastic. Overall I would give the food a 7.5/10. It was all great, I had no complaints but it wasn’t anything that completely wowed me.

Service – you can’t have a dining experience without a server! Our server’s name was JoAnn and she was absolutely perfect. She was engaging, checked up on us plenty throughout our meal, and was always quick to get us what we needed. She really went above and beyond during our meal and it was very clear that she loved her job. I cannot say enough good things about her 10/10.
Now we can talk about the main event, character interactions. The characters here were wonderful. During our time eating we saw Chip and Dale, Mickey, and Pluto. They were very attentive and did not give us any less attention for being childless diners. They were great at reading how much time they should spend with each table as well. We enjoy seeing the characters but we say a quick hello, snap a picture, and are ready to move on, which they were able to pick up on. However, other tables enjoyed extra attention and the characters could see that and stayed longer. Overall this was a perfect character meal. I give it a 10/10 for characters.

Our experience at Garden Grill breakfast was awesome. Overall I would give it an 8/10. While you aren’t getting anything extravagant when it comes to food, the service and character interactions certainly elevate the experience. I think it is also a more reasonably priced character dining experience and it is definitely worth the cost.
